Jackie Robinson Park




Is it just me or does the park look scary.  The recreation center looks like a freakin' prison. Get rid of some bricks!  I feel like they should redesign the park and make it more open.  It should be a place that encourages residents to hang out.  .  Add a nice fountain, pond or something.  Also, it needs prettier benches.  These benches are nice.

A fountain would be very nice. I like the benches but don't think they would match the park.

It'll be nice if the park had more green, maybe grass at some areas. I agree, a fountain, pond or some body of water would be AWESOME!

Though, I particularly don't like the metal benches you posted. They usually feel cold. I'd rather have wood benches.

What can we do to suggest to have a fountain and/or grass patches?

I think we would have to contact the NYC dept of parks or the community board 10.

About the Fresh Direct. I believe someone got a petition and brought it to FD's attention. I saw the FD truck a couple of times. I love grocery shopping so never used it.

These benches look bloody awful. I'd much rather prefer wooden benches.
