Parking is OUT OF CONTROL

Someone stuck under my door a letter urging owners to pressure the board to get the garage company to lower their prices.  Though I agree with this person I also think that the company has the right to charge whatever price they want as long as they pay their rent.  But then again, I think they got a subsidy.  If so, they should cut tenants a slack.  The garages around us are much cheaper.  I heard the one on 155th street is only $175/month.  The one across the street is $190 for tenants and $250 for non-tenants.

So what the hell is going on with our building.  $300 for tenants!!!  Geez do we feel special.  

We have a board, but like I said, they don't do much but plan get-togethers and figure out how many bottles of beer to bring.  

They're probably getting a cut on their monthly parking fee for not fussing to the garage company about it.  Who knows.  This is possible.  Remember the resident pilot thing. 

Best not be left in the dark

Hmm. I got a letter from ConEd stating that the bill for the common areas haven't been paid since who knows when.  Basically, it was urging owners to make sure it gets paid.   Immediately I thought:  What the heck are they doing with our maintenance fee?  Those elevators best be working or else there's gonna be issues up in here.

So much for the board, so much for management.  Isn't paying the bills a major part of their job?

GHETTO!

My hubby came home from pathmark grocery store the other night and told me about some big fat woman hitting another woman carrying her baby in a sling.  

Why is this going on?  When is it ever ok to hit a woman carrying her baby?  Ya know, there's alot of jealousy in this world towards women with kids.  The ones that can't have them either because their system has malfunctioned or because they don't have the magic wand to help them out are always hating.  They look at women who have kids with evil eyes.  For example, we were eating the other day at a diner on 80th street.  Two women, unrelated, sat near us.  One was happy and talking to my little son.  The other had a sour face and looked like someone just slapped her stupid.  Guess which one has a happy life?  Guess which one has kids of her own?  Guess which one has a man who loves her.  It's so obvious.  

Back to this b**** at pathmark.  If she was living down south, she would've gotten her ass whup'd in a split second.  NYers just talk alot but don't do crap.  We from down south don't play that shit.  There's a baby there, she should know better! Doesn't she know that society don't give a shit about her.  Let her move her ass down south if she thinks she's bad.

I normally don't agree with men hitting women but in cases like this, the ho needs a smack down.  That's the only way to keep her in her place.

Poor little baby.  I heard he/she was crying like crazy.  Hopefully he/she didn't get hit.  

Been quite busy

I've been quite busy lately with business.   Running a business and dealing with a son is very very hard.  Sometimes I don't know how I manage but I do.  Lately, people here in this building have been quiet.  I guess they're all working.  I'm home most days and never see anyone.  Perhaps they're trying to avoid me. :)

Today I received a newsletter under my door.  Why are they wasting paper when the same thing is posted in the "resident pilot."  Isn't that what they bought the program for?  Aren't we all trying to be as GREEN as possible.  They just killed a couple of more trees.  What's worse is that they didn't talk about much.  Some stuff about the get-together that nobody cares about.  Frankly, I'm not here to make friends.  The board runs this condo like a dorm or something, organizing activities and all....don't they know that people wanna be left alone.  Dang, stop putting stupid notices under my door, stop sending dumb messages on my unitone about so and so found a birdy and miss somebody lost her laundry card.  Tough!  This is life.  If we all had actual homes, would we still get the same dumb messages under our door, in our intercom system?  Probably not.  Shouldn't a condo have the same privacy?  Furthermore, why are idiots down stairs in the lobby advertising the get-together.  He doesn't even care about it.  Who does?  Why can't we enter the lobby and be left alone?  What's all this idiocracy?

Oh yea, I hope everybody is preparing for the increase in maintenance charge...it's written all over that newsletter.

Ay yah yah....how do you get rid of stupidity in this world?
